Meet and greet and proceed to Mysore- Known for its magnificent palaces and majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and treelined boulevards, shimmering silks and sandalwood,the ‘City Royale’ always figures in the tourist’s itinerary, enroute visit Srirangapatna - Island fortress of Tippu Sultan. Visit Tippu's summer Palace, Mosque and Sriranganatha Temple. Day 02: 13 Oct 2013:- Mysore - Ayudapuja Day

Morning breakfast and proceed for full day sight seeing, visit Maharaja Palace - the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations,Art Gallery - the art gallery in the Jaganmohan Palace houses an excellent collection of ceramics, ivory, sandalwood, stone, antique furniture and ancient musical instruments, St. Philomena’s Church - this imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers is a must see. Evening-attend rehearsal of Torch Light Parade at Bannimantap. Overnight

Day 03: 14 Oct 2013:- Mysore - Vijayadasami Day

Breakfast; proceed to Maharaja Palace at 11.30hrs to be seated to witness Dasara Pooja and procession at Maharaja Palace (Carry your sandwich and water bottle). Return to hotel at 16.00hrs. Evening free Overnight

Day 04: 15 Oct 2013:- Mysore / Nagarahole – Kabini River Lodge(80Kms/2 Hrs)

Morning breakfast, checkout of the hotel and proceed to Kabini River lodge. Situated in Karapur (southern Part of Nagarahole National Park) is the old hunting lodge of the Maharaja and Viceroy’s. The lodge on the bank’s of the river Kabini for bird watching. A naturalist guide helps you identify the many varieties of birds and wild beasts. Check in on arrival and proceed for lunch. Tea at 1545hrs and proceed for wildlife tour at 1600hrs to Nagarahole National Park. Return to camp at 1845hrs & at 1900hrs-watch wildlife film. Dinner and overnight halt at the lodge.

Day 05: 16 Oct 2013:- Kabini River Lodge

Morning wake up at 0545hrs to get ready for Bird watching, Elephant Ride and Wildlife safari, etc., Return to lodge at around 0930hrs and proceed for breakfast.

Relax or take a walk around the backwater area. Evening Safari, Dinner and overnight.

Day 06: 17 Oct 2013:- Nagarahole – Kabini River Lodge / Bangalore ( 230 Kms/ 5 Hrs)

Morning wake up at 0545hrs to get ready for Bird watching, Elephant Ride and Wildlife safari, etc., Return to lodge at around 0930hrs and proceed for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out of the resort and proceed back to Bangalore. Drop to Airport or Railway Station. Tour Ends.

Later on half day sightseeing, visit to Iskcon temple - the Krishna Temple is a blend of Modern technology and spiritual harmony, Lalbagh - 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants, Vidhana Soudha - this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat and return back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 05: 16 Oct 2013:- Bangalore

Morning breakfast and proceed for full day sight seeing, visit to Cubbon Park, Bull Temple - Dravidian-style temple, has a huge monolithic Bull is the vahana of Lord Shiva, Government Museum - Acclaimed as one of the oldest museums in the country, Tippu's Palace -Tippu Sultan's summer retreat, Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain - View the colorful swirling fountains dancing in tune to music, later on return back to hotel and overnight.

Day 05: 16 Oct 2013:- Coorg – Madikeri

Morning breakfast and proceed for trekking or relax at the pool or visit Cauvery Nisargadhama - Nisargadhama teems with lush foliage, thick bamboo groves, teak, and rosewood, Talakaveri - Set amidst the picturesque Brahmagiri hills is the source of Cauvery River. Evening visit & Onkareshwara Temple, Raja Seat -Raja's seat perched atop a hill, good for watching the golden sunset, Abbey Falls - Tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. Dasara with a Gold Card
The Gold card mainly is intended for foreign visitors visiting Mysore during the Dasara season, has been released and available with us in Bangalore and Mysore and at selected tourist centers including the Department of Tourism and the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) offices in the State. Gold Cards are available at D.C.Office, APMC Office.

FREE ENTRY TO TOURIST PLACES , Oct. 22 – 24, 2012 (3days) 10 am – 5 pm The Gold Card is of cost 6000/-* for two persons. each will enable tourists coming for witnessing the famous Mysore Dasara celebrations from 15th Oct to 24th Oct 2012 to have easy and free access for 3 persons to witness various programmes from an exclusive enclosure. The gold card will also help them get discounts ranging from 10 to 25 percent at selected shops like jewellery and handicrafts, and restaurants.
